"Rolls-Royce of the sea", "Stradivarius of boating" are some of the expressions used to describe the very famous Riva Aquarama Special, the flagship of the Riva range at the time!

The Riva Aquarama was born in the summer of 1962 and was without doubt the most famous of all RIVA models. After a secret gestation period, the Tritone assembly line was interrupted and the hull n°214 was removed and transferred to the area reserved for prototypes.

Carlo Riva and Georgio Barilani, his designer, begin the transformation of the Tritone. A passageway was dug in the deck between the stern and the transom to facilitate access to the water and to allow the owner to move away from the beaches to approach more peaceful coves.
