Alma Throw

Designed by Budapest-based artist Enikő Katalin Eged, the Alma Throw draws on her love of folklore, nature and the bond between people and animals. The design brings together a recurring motif in her work, a horse and a human portrait side by side, inspired by the relationship she was building with her new mare at the time.

Jacquard woven from soft, textured cotton, the throw is set against a starry night sky in deep black, cobalt blue, burnt orange and warm yellow, finished with a fringed edge.

Every Slowdown Studio throw begins as an original artwork, created in collaboration with independent artists around the world. Use it on the sofa or bed, or hang it as a woven wall piece.
