The Ceramic Containers designed in 1952 by Alexander Girard, were originally made of wood, hand-turned by Girard on a lathe in his workshop.

Vitra has teamed together with Girard's family to bring the three beautiful objects back to life by recreating the design in ceramic. The hand-glazed pieces feature hues from Girard’s rich colour palette and can be used to store keys, coins or odds and ends. A playful twentieth-century design that will add character and charm to any setting.
