Conway Throw

Designed by Mexican artist Berenice Hernández Castro, whose work draws on her heritage, the plants around her and the mountains and desert landscapes of northern Mexico. Much of her art begins with small details noticed on everyday walks, from monstera plants spilling out of gardens to orange trees flowering across the city each spring.

The Conway Throw translates that sensibility into a calm, symmetrical composition in soft pink, dusty rose, sky blue and warm orange. Jacquard woven from soft, textured cotton and finished with a fringed edge.

Every Slowdown Studio throw begins as an original artwork, created in collaboration with independent artists around the world. Use it on the sofa or bed, or hang it as a woven wall piece.
