Cross Leg Lounge Chair - Duro Velvet Cobalt

A staple of The Conran Shop's private furniture offering since 2015, Magnus Long's Cross Leg collection presents the newly redesigned Cross Leg Lounge Chair.

Flaunting a modern design that was bestowed the Design Guild Mark's Jonathan Hindle Prize for excellence in 2015, the chair features a striking silhouette, available in countless fabric and leather upholstery options.

The idea for this chair came about from wrapping Post-it notes into cones to create a supple but stable shell for the seat.

Crafted in Italy, the design is available in multiple iterations, including new task and meeting chairs.

The form of the cone developed into a bean-like shape to express a warm and inviting place to sit with the addition of multi-density foam, building the fluid form and supreme ergonomics of the stool.

A high strength tubular steel black frame supports the shell, while the back legs cross over, giving the chair both its name and a unique detail.
