Eero Saarinen vowed to address the "ugly, confusing, unrestful world" he observed underneath chairs and tables - the so-called "slum of legs." A five-year design investigation led him to the revolutionary Pedestal Collection, introduced in 1958.

This table features a stunning marble tabletop with a transparent polyester coating, polished to a sleek finish and accented with a beveled edge. The top is securely attached to the base using a threaded rod. The base is crafted from heavy molded cast aluminum, available in either white or black paint. Each table is marked with the Knoll Studio logo and Eero Saarinen’s signature, stamped into the bottom of the base or the underside of the tabletop, depending on the model. The dimensions are 51cm in height and 51cm in diameter, making it a compact and elegant addition to any space.
